My son has some days when he cannot do much homework from events that he cannot reschedule (theater rehearsals, doctors appointments, …). Having some flexibility in scheduling homework means he has to learn time-management skills (doing the homework a day earlier). Having homework assigned one day and due the next just causes him to learn to resent the arbitrariness of teachers.<br /><br />Actually, it is not a problem to have something due every day, as long as the assignments are all given at least a week ahead of time (on the web or in writing). It is better to have bigger chunk due at once, but work can be done on the weekend then dribbled out to the teacher during the week.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
